Sacred Spaces

As we move further into the material dimension the need for sacred spaces is more vital than ever, be it for those who want to find more meaning in their lives or for a seasoned practitioner to create more connection and open further dimensions in their practice.

Sri Lanka, a land with ancient history and Buddhist sites long hidden behind civil wars and colonisation was home to many enlightened ones. There are stupas containing authentic relics of the buddha, or places that were visited by the Buddha Shakyamuni himself. Such as in the case of Sri Pada'(Adam’s Peak) the earthly representation of Mount Malaya, as described in the Lankavatara Sutra.

Being a tropical island, the sites are a stone’s throw away from each other and are close to beaches, rainforests, national parks and mountains. Abundant wildlife, exotic tropical fruit are just a few of the charms of this magical island. This lays a very interesting proposition for a pilgrimage.
